The 2023 Chiefs Rugby Mens Home Jersey design takes its inspiration from Tamanuiterā (The Sun). In particular it uses ngā hihi o te rā (Sunrays) to accentuate the Gallagher Chiefs home colours. The rays of Tamanuiterā touch all parts of the Chiefs contributing regions radiating energy and power, depicted in the top half of the design. The lower kōwhaiwhai (ornate swirls) depict the flow of waterways throughout the region connecting chiefs, sponsors, members, players, clubs and supporters. Please note: some sponsor marks may differ from 2022 to 2023 season jerseys, the design is the same.
